Hedwig's Theme
Finally, I am going to do Hedwig's Theme from Harry Potter. This piece is easily recognizable because of the publicity of Harry Potter through the years. The first time it was played was when Harry's owl, Hedwig, left for the winter.
Like usual, I played I once without practice on Sunday.
Then on Monday, I worked on the rhythm and tempo (160) and the accidentals in the entire piece, after looking at the key.
On Tuesday, I worked on the cut time at 59, and the accents and staccatos from there to the end.
On Wednesday, I was to busy to practice.
On Thursday, I reviewed the high notes and the slurs and just anything I felt needed polishing.
